thank you for the measurements, I can't wait to make one. I spent quite a bit of time ironing my strings today. now seeing this I know what I want to use them for! love making string quilts and this is a new pattern for me. Again thank you.

Chris, yes, it is a 60° equilateral triangle. The only 60° template I have is the Tri Tool portion of the Tri Recs set. Following the directions Angelia gave us, I sketched the triangle on a piece of paper. Then I laid the Tri on top. Sorry for shadowing at the edges of the acrylic; I promise it is right on the line. Note that for this tool, I would have to continue on cutting at the top, rather than nip the top off as is usual. There may be other 60° tools that would go completely to the point, but this is what I have.
