I was taught by a very elderly lady who lived in the appalachian mountains of Virginia. Interesting how patterns were created with a little different twist to them.
Morag... Will you tell us how you learned to do it?
I would be interested in knowing your method too Thanks Pat

wonderful tuturial ! did mine in 4 inch squares.. had over 90 pieces of fabric, including windows and only made it to 11 x 15.. UUGGH.. so glad you use bigger size initial squares.

love this pattern. had to go to library for the hand style vs. machine.

thanks so much ! love it.. turn out the lights and look through your windows.. beautiful when back lit!
