    I love your small one - it must have been a real challenge. It does look spectacular with the light shinning through it.

    Question: what is the reason for the initial stitching up of the sides? I have a book that describes 3 methods for these blocks but it is not very clear. It does not include that step. I started on a few before I read this tutorial when I was looking for clarity on joining the blocks. Wondering if I need to start over?! Eeek! I am totally stuck now and I can't help but laugh! Anxiously awaiting any input! Thanks Y'all!
