I'm not able to do this quilt as my sewing machines and fabric are shoved in a corner right now, but have enjoyed the suspense on what it will look like. I have never seen a mystery quilt beore the final picture was out. I did notice one thingg where the math didn't add up that I thought you would like to know. You told us to fold 2/3 of the seams to the background and the other 1/3 to the color, but the numbers you gave us was out of 80 you fold 40 to the background and 20 to the color... that is only 60 squares. I think with 80 you would need to do 53 to the background and 27 to the color... does that make since? Just want to try to figure this out so that when I do have my sewing machine I can catch up and join you. How many weeks/clues are there in the mystery quilt?

With so many different sizes, I bet it is really hard to keep it straight.

Here are some of my step one pieces and my step 2 blocks!

The webcam reversed the picture for some reason. They are correct in real life!

Thanks for the mystery. It is fun so far.

I have chosen Hawaiian themed fabrics for a wallhanging.

    :)

    The camera reversed them!

Snicker.. I fixed that.. I thought I had!! It's actually 60 that go one way.. and 20 that are pressed in the other direction!!! I DID learn not to do math after say.. 10pm.. :) HUGS! because y'know 60+20= 80.. :P take care!
