I wait for the final clue to see if I even like the quilt before I waste my time and fabric on something that I wouldn't even let my dog (if I had one) sleep on. Not referring to this mystery quilt but the idea in general. I know that there must be some others out there that feel the same way.
LOL Blue I do understand you, I've been in some doosies.. I can understand plan for what is incoming.. :) I was an Army brat... then I was the Army person.. so can understand where you are coming from. I hope you like this pattern when it's done and go ahead and have fun with it! :)

Beautiful fabric, can we see a peak of your focus fabric? I am so curious about the process someone uses in making these decisions. I need to loosen up and take chances.

I am thinking you will be pleasantly surprised with your results. The focus fabric looks like you could pick the flowers right off it. Yummy

Uhh..I'm thinking there is a little mixing up.. but it will look good :) The geese should match your stripe fabric.. or the other way around. That all should have been Color1... but y'know.. creative sewing is my by-line for anything and it will look great! Kind of like Lovin'MySoldier's point cut-off party she had.

The colors aren't the best. I took this with the built-in camera. But, you can get the general idea. They are all Hawaiian prints in dark blues and bright pinks. :)

This is so different from what I would choose and I absolutely love it! I will be watching your progress.
