This is a poem I got when I received my angel from a friend. If you are going to make one of these for a gift, you are welcome to copy this poem.

    THE FRIENDSHIP ANGEL
IN THE DAYS OF OLD (SO I AM TOLD)
WHEN FRIENDS WERE CLOSE AND DEAR
    SPECIAL GIFTS WERE GIVEN THEM
TO KEEP FOR YEARS AND YEARS
SO AS OF OLD, I GIVE THIS GIFT
    AN ANGEL THAT WILL SAY
EVERY TIME YOU LOOK AT HER
    I THOUGHT OF YOU TODAY

Thanks for something quick and easy to make. As a thread crocheter, I have lots of thread. I think some of these in other colors might look cute too.

I've made these dolls "forever" but never thought about putting a ribbon behind them--what a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
