    Default Diagonal Disappearing 4 patch tut

    This is how I made the DD 4 patch I posted last week.
    First I used a 4" wide ruler placed it so I would have 2" on each side. Cut corner to corner turn and cut corner to corner the other way. Having a mat you can turn helps immensely.

    attached the middle square to 2 of the outside pieces contrasting colors..

    Sewed the sides with opposite colors together.

    add sides to middle.

    cut and square up block.

    5" but you could use bigger if you like.
