    I'm thinking a 12" block would be a good overall size, so what width strips would I cut to make the blades?

    Thank you. I am going to try to make neck tie quilt out of my bosses ties that he gave me and this tool should help.

    According to the pamphlet, for a 12" finished block they suggest using the 4" guide.

    Can't wait to find some time to give this a try! I've got a box of vintage fabric that I've wanted to do something with like forever. Now I've got a project in mind.
