    wanted to say thank you for the tutorial, I made all the members of my family, and the extended members too, a pointsettia of their own. When a few friends were added I made 27 in all.

    Wow, 27? I posted a picture of the Water Lilly table runner finished this week. Maybe they all need one of those for spring?

    If you remember to stop 1 stitch before the point and just take a hop over to begin sewing the other side at same spot. In all sorts as sewing and quilting use this technique for points and I get them. Theory is that the space created by just that one stiitch gives well trimmed seam allowance somewhere to go. You'll get a point instead of a ball. HTH
