Gee, best easy quilt pattern that I have seen in a long time. Noticed you started this post a long while ago.
Hopefully I can find a way to send to my computer so I can print it out because of the info for the sashing. Have other things going or I would start one tomorrow.

I found this pattern a few days ago and knew it would be just what I was looking for, for my "warm" Kaffe Fassett design strips I bought a year or so ago. (6" X WOF) Hot, hot pink, orange and purple. I added some other wild prints in the same colors to it, and used ivory for the centers. I made it a little smaller: I started with a 3" ivory center block, a 3" color, two 5.5" colors, and an 8" color. I'm loving it so far.
Thank you for sharing this fun easy block. I may be able to post a pic when I get it all done. I'm pretty tech challenged, so don't anybody hold their breath, haha.

Just found out another friend will be going through chemo. Second friend in three years. I'm planning to use this pattern in her favorite colors as soon as I find out what they are.

I've been looking through the different tutorials, and this is SO quick and easy!! And, lo and behold, I have a 4 1/2" strip die for my GO! cutter!! Now that I'm making some in-roads on organizing my stash, this should be a really fast way to actually USE those scraps!!

Thank you so much for something so easy, yet so lovely!!

I love patterns like this as they are easily adaptable to what you have on hand. I don't buy a lot of fabric.
Here's my version in florals with a light color Flip Corner. Bonnie Hunter Pattern called Boxy Stars I think.
    This quilt is for charity.

Oh, that's a cool idea! Are you still going to add the white sashing?

Love the log cabin pattern, less steps by using wider strips, great idea, and the colors are so soothing. Our church quilting group makes love quilts for people who are sick or in the hospital, we love easy patterns for we can accomplish more. Will definitely pass this one on. Thank you for sharing.
