    4" have a look at the beginning, so easy to make, one word of warning, donīt use a thick fabric for it though.

    It took me a while but I did it!!! I didn't have a 4" embroidery hoop. Not a single margerine tub or any 4" dish in my extensive collection of little dishes. I was about to give up when I measured the top of my large iced coffee plastic cup from Dunkin Donuts, VOILA! I cut off the rim of the cup and it worked perfect. Then I wondered what kind of cardboard you used.... I tried an empty cereal box and it also worked! I used a polyester batting and followed your instructions and I have a real cute little folding thread catcher!!! I took a couple of pictures and I will post them in the picture file. Thanks so much Elle for posting this neat tutorial!!!!!

    Here is the Thredcatcher that I made. It was really fun to make and I am amazed at how it works!

    Here it is all folded up!

    Thanks for the tute! I've been looking for instructions to make one of these for almost a year! I couldn't figure out what makes it work but now I know, its magic!! :thumbup:
