    Thanks so much. I am more of a visual person and this was perfect. I need more pot holders and mats so will practice on them.

    Thank you Amma for all of your helpful tips. Your pictures are very helpful. Someone else said they learn by seeing. Think that applies to me also... visual is always best. Linda

    i think we discussed this before, about the tips..in Joanns..they are in the decorative paint section..ceramic paints bottles. not where i thought it would be. under 5 bucks, i used a coupon! to make it even cheaper! lol

    What a good way to keep things exactly where you want to sew, your explanation and photos were great. I guess you can call it my first lesson learned for the day
