    Thank you so much for this. i will use your method in the future. i always use cornerstones as I cannot stand the misalignment otherwise

    Sounds like a great tip. I'll be trying it tonight or tomorrow for my Grandson's Christmas Quilt.

    Question - what's a cornerstone?

    Just started quilting in January, so some terms are very new to me.

    Great tips and perfect timing! I have been trying to decide what to do with some fabric that I did not want to cut up smaller than 5 inch squares. I am going to try doing the corner stone sashing.

    thanks for the great tip. I have a BOM laying on my floor now. deciding how I want the blocks arranged and was trying to figure out how to do the sashings. Now I know !
