Thanks so much - I measured and almost went crazy last Xmas trying to get a perfect octagon. I finally bought a small one from JoAnn's and figured next time I could enlarge it but this is a lot easier.

That is so good!! Thank you so much. I have been wanting to make a larger octagon shape and was trying to think how to do it. This is perfect. Thank you again.

LOL, my response exactly. In my mind, it was some obscure higher math function. Thank you so much. For this and all the lovely table toppers you have shared, and the tutorial!!! Hugs and smiles, wildlinda aka wildyard
PS: so many Linda's here, thought I'd go with my spades nickname. LOL

Thanks! How smart you are! I just happened to be sitting here with fall fabric trying to figure out how to measure for a hexagon!

Riversong, thanks so much for your help. My 3d pinwheel is waiting for quilting then I went out today and got the fabric I needed for a warm wishes quilt and now I can do a table topper for christmas - my friends always want me to make them a quilt for Christmas and I believe this will be just an nice and a pleasant surprise... Thanks again for all your help and keep up the good work. We all love your work...gb
