    Sherryl, was the cardinal hex. wallhanging yours? It was so beaut. I just had to do one.
    In searching for fabric for the outer border I found the companion dogwood fabric in my stash. Now what are the chances of that?

    I have a question about Octagon. My mom before she passed started an octagon table cloth. However since my table is square I've to square it somehow and turn it into a quilt for one of my kids.
    Does any one have ideas about how to get it to a square shape?
    I could sure use some help :?:

    To make it square, I would add some triangles to each of the corners. Looking at the picture above, look at the bottom left corner and you can see how it kind of forms a visual triangle with the white background.

    your wall hanging is just wnderful. Is there a tutorial or pattern for this? I am tired of doing quilts.
