Adorable! I'm planning on making one for my DDIL for Christmas filling the pockets with earrings and bracelets and the center with a necklace. Thank you for your wonderful tute! The photos were extremely helpful!

You could add velcro to one of the pockets on the outside to make it more secure for her. And change the size to be exactly what she needs. Enjoy!

Rounding the four corners would be easy, just use a glass or small plate for the pattern.

On some, I am adding buttons myself. And changing the cord to a regular handle would not be hard.

Using your free arm is the easiest way. Since I didn't want to remove my sewing table for such a small area, I just pulled the bottom off to the side. Slide your hand inside and just pull the bottom back. There is enough room to do it without being too difficult. If you go much smaller, it will become a bit harder, kind of like working on doll clothes. But if you go bigger, it will be even easier.
