    Trim roughly.
    Lay the postcard on the line between a-2 and a-3 and do like you did, when you laid the postcard on the line between a-1 and a-2. Go on doing like this. Look at the pattern to be sure of the colour.
    Trim unit a.
    Do all the units like this. Always beginwith nr.1 then 2 and so on

    Put the units together with pins like
    1.this (use both the hashmarks and the seams, that must meet)

    Fasten the pins in the hashmarks first alongside the paper, then fasten the pins in the seamline the other way

    Sew the 3 last together the same way. Make the eye.
    Make some sort of frame before removing the paper.

    It could also have been like this

    Jette I love your paper piecing technique ! Other patterns are all spiky or pointy , I don't like that . Thanks very much for the tutorial and lovely free pattern :D Annie
