I love homemade christmas balls and these are going to be perfect for all the metalic material I love. Thank you so much for the tutorial. It's definitely on my to do list.

I would really like to make these, but I have 3 small children & am concerned about leaving the pins in!!

    Any idea about that?

Hi my name is Kathy and new to the site. But I love the quilted ornaments, and was wondering how much fabric to buy to make these. Not a sewer can do almost all crafts.
    Please Help

Wonderful directions. I too work better with sight directions. At the moment I am using the old rubber band trick to line my Styrofoam balls but I would love to see this homemade alignment tool made from the lid of a butter tub. Can anyone send a picture and show how it works?

Thank you....this is the clearest tutorial I've seen on making these. I actually think I can make them now.

Check out the Ornament Girl.com websight for great free instructions, called basic star ornament. Type in the words, do not use anything highlighted.
