    Step 8- Add your borders and you’re ready for sandwiching and quilting. I used red and (color 4) the cream background print for my border. On the quilt I used 2” and 3 ½” strips. On the pillow sham, I used 1 ½” and 3 ½”. The red being so wide looked out of place on the pillow.

    Thank you so much for doing this! I have bought the book AND watched her video, but this seems to really make more sense than either the book or the video. You are really good at explaining things.

    Dina, you are too sweet. I guess those 30 years of teaching are still paying off, after all. This was the first quilt I ever made. So, you know it had to be pretty simple.
