I made one! And it came out almost just the way I wanted. Turned out, I had a not so old flannel backed table cloth here. But, it is 14 1/2 in. Sq. The next one I make will be 16 in. Sq. If it has a lot of pieces, 14 in is not quite big enough. But, it does the job. I will post photos when I get my computer fixed. Its awesome and I love mine. Thank you for the idea!!!

I can finally post photos again. I just want to thank you again for sharing your idea. I love it. And it works out great for me.

I used an old tablecloth. (Or at least old for me.) It's Appx. 15 x 15 finished. I would suggest just a smidge bigger pages for blocks with a lot of pieces. But, I don't know if too much bigger would actually be helpful. You know, the too much of a good thing.

Judith, you did such a neat job of sewing, too.I just slapped mine together...that doubled over cover is a great idea, too. Thanks for improving the concept. I love my mini one....pieces don't get lost...

Brilliant Idea.......I've seen holiday tablecloths like this at michaels......and with a 50%coupon.......could be really inexpensive.

If yall have an Old Time Pottery (depending where you live), They sell flannel backed tablecloths for 3.88 and up. I saw them there just a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for dish towels. I would google the store. I think it is a more Southern chain. But, don't quote me on that.
