    I also do a lot of hand quilting, piecing etc, but the needle turn is frustrating for me. I can't seem to get my edges consistent. I have tried this fusible method and it works very well. It does take a little practice to get the stitches in the right position when making turns. The owner of one of the local quilt ships uses invisible thread. I don't like using it because of the shiny look, but it does hide mistakes.
