One thing you may want to be aware of is your fabric needs to be wrapped on "ACID FREE" what ever. That is why I chose COLOPLAST. My husband had some signage that had paper on it and it was not ACID FREE so I tossed it out. I didn't want my fabric to do funky stuff. You may want to surf the web to learn more about acid free surface and fabrics. Just a thought! |
Want to swap your stash with mine . thanks that was so helpful, and we need to be neat hhhmmmmm.

Thank you, ALASKASUNSHINE FOR THE GREAT TUTORIAL. I went to my local sign shop and ask for scraps of Coroplast sign board. He gave me 15 to 20 pieces about 7x24 for nothing (I did offer). Then I found a local supplier and got 18 X 24 boards for $1 each They also sold 4x8 sheets for about $9.35 each. I have two closets full of fabric and have just started to organizing them. Again thanks for the great Idea.

This was so wonderful that I thought I had walked into a new quilt shop and that I was just dazzled with the assortment of cloth available. I was glad to see that I too can have my fabric orgainized as my stash in in flip top boxes by time and hard to see. Thanks again

wow! that's some stash, sunshine!
i fold my larger pieces like this, too, but without the board base. looks like the board makes it easier to store. |
