I would love the patterns for this paper piece star block
|
Would you send me info re: getting this pattern?
|
Hi Sheryl -
I appreciate the pattern and have been working on my star this afternoon. A bit challenging for me to get things lined up when you pivot to sew the two units together. I have units 1 and 2 finished and will send you my block early next week. Thanks again for taking the time to share this great pattern. |
I have to say a big thank you for sharing your pattern and I am on my way in to make my 5th attempt. If I don't get it this time I am going to say that it just wasn't for me and i will send you a block just not this one and I will delete the file that you sent me because I didn't fulfill my obligation!!

I woul love to have the pattern for star block . Please send me info on price and how to send to you. my name is Betty Stevenson
|
this is absolutely beautiful and very well explained but, somehow I miss this pattern, I still consider myself new here and sometimes I miss stuff and most of the time the important stuff do you still have the pattern where you can still have it , my email address is [email protected]. I would gratefully appreciate it if you could send it to me.
love quilts and various other crafts. |
I LOVE the pattern. But most of all, I think after reading the first steps in the tute, that I finaly feel like I understand paper piecing. I am such a novice. My Mom taught me to make these sorts of things by cutting jillions of small pieces and ironing and then sewing them together. I think as soon as I finish up the couple of projects I have sort of hanging around in my head, I will have to try some PP.
|
it is very difficult doing it the paper piecing way getting your seams to match up for me it is, I am finding that cheating and using the fat quarters and believe you me I am still really new I am making table runners, pot holders and trying to get my guts up to tackle a quilt because I will need a Queen size for my bed. I have been making some throw pillows and today I found the cutest frog quilt which I think will try to tackle for a throw for my living room. and I also found 2 different purse patterns that I like
|
Great tute, Sherryl! I haven't forgotten about your block. Things have been so busy since the beach retreat but I'll get it finished this week and will post a picture when I'm done.
|
I love that block, would love the pattern
|

Thanks MBarnett |
Hi sorry to bother you but how do I download the pattern to print off. I am dying to have a go at this design. Sorry if I have missed them, many thanks
linda |
can this be made by aplique I just can't get paper piecing right. Thank you Ellen
|
This is what I get for getting busy and not checking the quilting board. This is absolutely fabulous. Is it too late to get the pattern pieces. Love, love, love the block and the colors chosen.

I would like to get this pattern. if still available...
Let me know about it. THANKS! |
Just found this tutourial for the candlequilters star and would love to have the pattern if possible. Thank you so much. kackie

If Sherryl has not yet gotten in touch with you I thought I'd respond ...
In order to get the "pattern" you must go to the top of this post and click into Private Messages and find candlequilter ... send her a PM (Private Message) [to candlequilter] and she will contact you with the specifics ..... If you decide to make this block, I will tell you now .... I am NOT a paper-piecer .... I found it a challenge ... but it IS do- able .... even if you have never paper pieced before .... Your second one will turn out a lot better than your first one, believe me .... and the third will be only a little easier, but will turn out MUCH better .... Sherryl is very patient in returning emails and helping you get over any frustrations you may encounter .... "PM" her -- she will give you specifics

Candlequilter's tute is spelled out completely. I did my blocks without the tute...but having it makes you feel like you know what you're doing!! After seeing Candelquilter's Christmas table runner, I am itching to do one (only 3 blocks).
I am excited to see how Candlequilter takes all our blocks and makes them into quilts! They will be outstanding quilts! Thanks, Candlequilter, for sharing your pattern, patience and your expertise with your star! |
How do I get your pattern? I have send a pm, but have got no reply.
|
Have patience.... it's a holiday weekend ..... She'll get back to you; really she will ..

Thank you, love the tut and all the pics. Would like to try this one, one of these days, when I get a little bit more experience in quilting. Also, liked the colors you used.

Could some one be kind enough to explain to me how I could get a copy of this pattern, I did contact Candelquilter, and it was agreed that I would send her some fabric from New Zealand which I did and she would send me the Pattern, unfortunately this did not happen, it looks such a lovely pattern
Please PM me if you can help Kamaiarigby. (Dale) New Zealand |
COuld someone please attach this pattern or give info on how to secure it. I have tried to PM Candlequilter but it says her box is full so that is not an option at this point.. This is an awesome block..
