Yours is also so beautiful. Did you hand stitch onto your main fabric?

No hand stitching. The pink fabric is not part of the block. Just placed it on that so it would show up....You can't see it, but I did a blanket stitch on all the plates.

thanks for the tut. The one I saw the center of the plate was square. there was a picture of it on the board.
