Great idea.

I was inspired by one I saw posted on this board a week or so ago so I headed to Lowe’s for some supplies…total purchase: about $8. I had some spray paint on hand and a piece of very thin plywood. With supplies in hand, I invaded my DH’s workshop. I only needed a saw (almost any kind will do) and some clamps. This is what I came up with.

Very cool organizer for your cutting table, you not only organized the rulers but all that little stuff that wanders around on your table.

Nice design. I used an office file folder organizer that was higher in the back than the front and it hold all my rulers in a small space to the left of my cutting area on the table...a previously unused space/mess. Glad you could wrangle yours into such a neat and tidy contraption.......good going...

You did a great job and idea of putting trays in the front is thoughtful.

You are an awesome designer!
I too have a gazillion rulers and came up with a solution to organize them... my friend's hubby made me a 24" x 16" peg board to hang on my wall. Many rulers have large holes and hang just fine on the pegboard hooks. For the ones that have small holes, I make thread "loops" that will hang on the hooks. I also like to use the large black binder clips. They are strong enough to grip the rulers securely, and then the top part can hang on the pegboard hooks. I also use the binder clip method for hanging up my quilting stencils. |
How clever you are. I don't think I could do that. That's a lot of work. You are amazing!!!!
