Thank you for the tutorial, Riversong! I have an idea for an octagon table topper and have been puzzling in my mind for the last couple of weeks how to make the shape! So, very timely.

I tried measuring each edge of the octogon and I couldn't get it to come out right. THis is a lot easier to do and the good thing is , you make it larger or smaller. I have a Santa done and I just have to quilt it and such. Now I gotta go find that fabric I have that has poinsetias on it and make another one. THanks for all you've done, Huiggies, Fay

thank you so much for helping with this.. i just cut out the originial- pizza pan, 14" octagon, then a 13.5 octagon, then a 11" octagon, this one i think i will use alot, thanks again, Riversong.......molly
