thanks for the pix, but everyone, must remember to be careful about copyright infringement. Even on the tool!
what is the finished size of the tree? The finished size of the tree incl. stem is 22 ¼ inches from top to bottom. |
It's a beneficial information about how to make a twister Christmas tree and you can easily follow it. If you don't want to make it, you can buy ready made artificial Christmas tree from the web. I would like to suggest you for natural tree because it's look traditional.

As far as I know, there are 3 different sizes of twister tools. The mine Twister tool measures 2 ¼ by 2 ¼ inches, the medium on is 3 ½ by 3 ½ inches. there is also a large twister tool, but I don't have it so I don't now that size.

You're absolutely right. I went to the hardware store and had them cut me a 3 1/2 inch square out of plexiglass, (they gave it to me for free because they made it out of scrap). When I got it home I scratched the 2 lines on it, I drew along the scratch with a magic marker, wiped off the excess, then taped clear tape over the scratch. Ta Da! I think I found the paper pattern on a site where they called it 'square dance'

You can buy a twister tool at Joanns, Hancocks, any quilt shop I would think. My tool is 5 1/2 in and came from Hancoks. Its by omnigrid. A warning they are so easy they are addictiive.
