Thanks, those blocks are so pretty.

Thanks. I have enjoyed tangling but was hesitant to try it on a quilt, but I like your method. Will have to try this one.

A suggestion...
Print your pattern on regular paper. Trace the pattern onto fabric with a regular pencil (washes out) or fabric marking pen which will iron away or wash out. Sandwich with batting and backing and then quilt. |
I used to love doing "scribble designs" in 5th grade. These are very reminiscent of those. Anyone else remember? Those were days long gone in a galaxy far, far away.

Like the zentangles and have been looking on internet for patterns. So....there is no wrong or right way to zentangle? Is that correct? Just scribbling and doodling basically?I tried it on paper last night and if I am correct as to what "it" is..I love it. Also used colored pencils. "Whatever" I did looks good!! LOL!

Dear Tothenci,
Again I thank you for these instructions for Zentangles! I am fascinated by them! The possibilities are endless. I also want to thank you for all the interesting ideas and techichniques you have introduced us to recently! The results of your curiosity - extended to us to explore, have been very interesting, asking us to "think outside of the box" which is a very good thing - stretching our imaginations. Jeannie |
Thanks for explaining how you do your zentangle quilts. I have everything ready to go for one and now I just need some free time in my life to start. I really do love your zen quilts.

The more I look, the more fascinated I become. I think I will start practicing FMQ and maybe come out with some that I could use for Zentangles. Thanks.
