Janice, your Baltimore Oriole is beautiful. We have yellow finch that come to our window and I am always wanting to capture them in drawing/quilting. Thanks for the nudge to get her done!

I appreciate all the comments and hope this tutorial has helped. I started this quilt about this time last year, and didn't work on it all summer or fall. I have picked it up again and have 10 more to do. You can check out where I started my post called "The Beginnings of a Crayola Quilt" it was my first 3 blocks completed. I will have 20 when completed. Thanks again for your encouragement.

Nice tutorial with easy read directions. I also love the Oriole. I have some squares that I had people draw and write on for my daughter's graduation party from college and getting her Master's in Social Work. Now I know how to finish it up. Thank you so much JaniceP for doing this and sharing with the board.
