Step 8- Add your borders and you’re ready for sandwiching and quilting. I used red and (color 4) the cream background print for my border. On the quilt I used 2” and 3 ½” strips. On the pillow sham, I used 1 ½” and 3 ½”. The red being so wide looked out of place on the pillow.
