Terrific idea, as well as directions.
I believe I'm going to do this for Christmas gifts - only instead of a maple leaf, I'll draw a fat Christmas tree and use your directioins. Thanks for sharing. |

My Mom would love them. She collects maple leaf items since my family used to make syrup. (We haven't made any since the tenant burned down the sugar shack looking for something amongst the papers and wood with a lighted match. Accident? Hmmm...)

Thank you for posting this and for the template! I can have autumn again though I'm here in Florida now, and I've sure missed the colors and crisp air from when I lived in the northeast. Where did you get your fabric? I really like that gold and green paisley and would love to find some.

I did an autumn leaf wall hanging last year ... batiks worked well too.
