Great Idea for making the leaves into pot holders. Fun how one idea can join into several things with a little imagination.

Fall is my favorite season of the year and maple leaves are my favorite quilt pattern in fall colors of course. I will have to make some of these.

Fall is my favorite season too. Unless you start talking Spring in the Smokey Mountains! Oh! My Aunt Charlotte lives in Oak Ridge! Auntie Charlotte? (LOL - I know you aren't really her, but what a funny coincidence!)

Aww - I know that if I lived in Florida I would miss Autumn too much too.

The fabric you asked about is made by Andover Fabrics and is part of their “Arabesque” line. My middle daughter picked it out for a quilt I am going to make for her. I bought it on eBay about a year ago. You are in luck too, because I did a search on eBay and there is one seller with some fabric from that line. I had used the stripe version for the leaf, but the all over paisley is perhaps even better. Here is a link to the fabric on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Andover-Fabr...item1c1dc4cc59
I hope you can capture a little of that wonderful Autumn feeling and enjoy it there in Florida!

Jeepers jgriinke…. If I had to sew 34 of them, I would either get very, very good at it or loose my head and rake them into a pile.

Very pretty, great idea for mug rugs for gifts. I bet a large holly leaf would be nice for Christmas and add some red beads or buttons for berries. I like it.
