You use it in the microwave as a nest egg for your bowl with the ingredients in it, that way when your food is ready you can just take the whole thing out at one time place it on the counter or take it right to your work area and enjoy! No pot holders required.

DO NOT USE Insul-Bright in a microwave oven. Be sure to follow manufacturer's instructions on any thing you use. Thanks

Thanks so much for the PDF! I need another month before Christmas :) These are great.....can't wait to try them for my hubby who has nerve damage in his hand due to shoulder surgery. He will LOVE them!

So I have read all 383 posts. I'm going to make these for my square Corning Ware 2-cup casserole dishes, and at least one for my 9X13 glass pan that I sometimes use to take hot dishes to pot lucks. We go to at least 3 pot lucks every month, so it will be used a lot. We also have soup bowls that look like a very large cup. They will get one, too.

The posts about great Christmas gifts encouraged me to check our your tutorial. Looks great, and like something I might try to do before Christmas, now that I have finished a rag quilt.
