When in doubt about a block you see, check with a protractor. (Remember those half-circle pieces of plastic from geometry class?) You don't need to measure perfectly to know whether you have the correct tool.
Sometimes it is easier to make a template for a unit than to have to think about how to cut each piece. It is also important to remember that the triangle in a square unit requires reverse triangles for the skinny side triangles. |
