    This quilt is so stunning, so full of life and such a unique way of quilting.

    I think there will be one almost exactly like it in Australia before too long.

    That looks so easy! What is that plastic square on top? is it also a ruler? Is that needed when I make any other quilts. Mary

    Yes that's a 6 1/2" square ruler. I find it very useful for trimming blocks, cutting smaller pieces than my 24" warrants, etc. I'd say it's the ruler I use most, after my long one. :-D
