    I was thinking the same thing...the corners look great but what does the tool do?

    If you watched the tute you will see that it makes it easier to get a good miter. If you don't want to spend the money for the convenience of making a nice miter, that is up to you. As for me the proper tools help to make a great quilt.

    I'm going to get myself this tool and keep my paws crossed that I can get myself out of the bind I'm in with binding. Your directions apppear to be so clear and concise in combo with the pics that it almost seems if after implementing this tutorial with the pending "new toy" I best just give it up! Thank you bryanne

    Another dumb in here too....
    I am have been struggeling with the wider bindings and I cannot figure it out...
    What are the other methods??? for wide bindings??

    Thank you so much for this tutorial. It is awesome. I made the best mitered corner I have ever made this morning!!! This is a Quilt for Kids quilt.

    Good job! I am glad to see I have a convert. And it wasn't hard was it? They are just the best for charity quilts.
