    Thanks for the tut. Since I really, really need new pot holders this will be a quick way to get some. Also, I think I will use the opprotunity to practice some FMQ on them since they are for me.

    Thanks! I forgot to say that I had some Insulabrite left over so I used that for the batting. They turned out to be thinner than using denim and are very flexible but I worried that they wouldn't be thick enough. I used them last night and didn't burn my hands so that's good.
    I have tons of denim jeans that friends have given me that I hope to make a couple quilts for picnic and beach use and a couple of tote bags. Now I know I can use some of it for potholders too.
