#251663 has the step by step pictured. To explain further: Finish 2 blocks and align them the way you want them to show on top of your quilt. Add the 1 1/2" strip to the back of the left one (right sides together) and sew with a 3/8" seam. Add the right block with the same 1 1/2" strip to the back with right sides together (making sure that they are even on top) sew with a 3/8" seam. When you open them up they should align perfectly. You add the 2 3/8" strip, folded down the middle to the left one with back strip, block and the folded strip in line, sew with 3/8" seam. Lay flat again, roll over the top sashing to cover the seam on the right block, stitch with zig-zag or light decorative stitch. Add as many blocks as you want in the row.

All blocks and rows and borders are attached with the same method as the first two blocks. (sashing)

See the picture. When adding rows align the sashing strips and pin in place. Open rows just as you did blocks, add top sashing (2 3/8"), roll over to cover seam and sew just as you did for the blocks.

I try to remember everything to help, but if you need furthur assistance, ask again.

#251663 is the directions for making the blocks etc. Drawings show everything. Good luck. PS there is a second posting for the QYG same one, everyone who goes to that one doesn't have a problem with downloading. Try it.
