    When you finish sewing the block, you square it up to 14" through all layers. Then your block is clean and precise.

    I'm confused. If you start with 13" how can you trim to 14"? What did I miss?

    Thanks I might try this I too am confused about the sashing but I think it's one of those things that don't make since til you do it! Thanks again!!

    I'm sorry, it should read 15" backing and batting squares. You build the log cabin on top and square up to 14".

    I'm sorry, the backing and batting should be 15" squares. I'll try to fix it.
