    I never knew that trick about cutting out the square in the corner! This is a nice way to get the lining and the bag done at one time. Splendid!

    Well how cute is that. I just did one with way more steps and more pockets but yours is so much easier and my pattern never told me to snip out the corner for the bottom like you did. that would create much less bulk when sewing across. Thanks. so much for this. I am going to try one in a pre-quilted piece I have that is burgundy. I just need to find the strap and contrast for the pockets. yours is so cute with the stripes. Thanks.     You may not see this to answer, but I have a question.

    First of all the bag is lovely - all of them. But is there only one strap? If so the bag will hang funny won't it, when there is any weight inside?
