    and by "points of the triangles", do you mean the corners of the right angles?

    yes. line up the middle seam on 6" hash and turn board so that you are looking at the square as a diamond. Cut the diamond in half. Turn the diamonds so that the points are facing each other.

    Not the corners. the points in the middle. try it with paper first to see how it will go together. color the paper like it were strips. no wasting fabric.

    Did anyone notice the kit for this quilt in the latest Keepsake Quilting catalog, called "Sashay". what a difference color makes!
