    What a great idea, I'll have to try it. I would think silk ribbon, 1/2" wide would work up beautiful, especially is hand dyed!

    Here is a block where I used a red floral calico fabric, total different look
    This is gorgeous too - these could become an addiction. I might try the ribbon too.
