This is one design I have used several times. It's generally a hit for my foster kids' quilts. I also do other "big block quilts', such as friendship stars. It's also great for wheel chair quilts. There are a number of blocks that lend themselves to this sort of single block quilt, for example, Dutchman's puzzle. I have used it with novelty fabrics for kids and 'grown up' fabrics for bigger folks.

Nice job! Jenny of MSQC has a Big Star Tutorial, not this big, but a nice size, I am going to try it soon. I've bought my fabrics!
