How has the thermal tape worked? I was reading that there were wider widths of these rolls, but have only found thermal, and was concerned it might cause a problem.

I am just now doing my first border on the tape. It is easy enough. Mindless. I have enough for one side done.

Using the adding machine tape was a very good idea. I recently used this method to make the border on a scrappy quilt top. Probably the easiest border I've ever put together.

I recently did the same border. It looks fine. I didn’t mind it. Don’t know how often I will do it

Here are 2 quilts that I've made using scraps and adding machine tape. I haven't quilted them yet, but will soon. :-)
