I'm with you on that suggestion. And your thanks to all who take the time to produce the tutorials for us. One further suggestion I offer is: Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself and your photographer with your camera. I'm always excited to see a tutorial for the opportunity to learn something new. Often, though, the photos are out of focus and the finer points of the tutorial aren't clearly visible, like stitch size and where to enter and come up on fabric. Most digital cameras have an easy-to-use close up setting. Maybe a little practice and the photos will be sharper for those of us out here with older eyes! And thanks again to everyone sharing their skills and knowledge with us.

As Mimistutz stated, it helps to know where you are going. The directions would be easier to interpret if you could look over the project to start with and then look back to the first photo for clarification.
Thanks so much to all of the quilters who have posted tutorials. I am learning so much. :)

I should have included in my first post here a BIG THANK YOU also. I love the tuts and they have been an enourmous help.
Also, I wouldn't have a clue how to post a tut (if I had one to post) so Kudos to anyone who puts them up.♥

The one suggestion I would like to make when you post a tutorial is: Please consider making the first picture in your tutorial a picture of the finished product. That way, it will immediately draw interested parties into viewing the entire tutorial. It could also pique the interest of some who thought that they might not be interested but, when they see the finished product as the first picture, decide that the tutorial would be worth viewing. Just my humble suggestion.

That is a great idea, and I also want to extend my sincere thanks for all the tuts that get posted. I have learned so much from them. I am currently working on an OBW and would never have tried it, if I hadn't seen all the tuts. My next biggie is a bargello. Still working up the nerve and looking for all the fabric.
