The length of all strips must total 1600". Usually a jelly roll has 40 strips. The most common width of the jelly roll is 2.5"...
The size of your finished quilt will vary depending on the width and length and number of strips.
You can make your own jelly roll. <wave>

I was wondering if I should alter light and dark or just sew them in no order--let me know. Thanks

I grouped them all by color and did it that way. Someone had mentioned a few pages back that it came out better. Mine looked just fine! You can see my picture on the previous page.

Thanks for the idea! I have two jelly rolls which were picked up at a yard sale.. now I know what to do.. Since both jelly rolls are of the same fabric, I still need an idea for the 2nd roll, as I do not need 2 similar quilts..
