I'm trying a new method today - press fat quarters right sides together with lots of starch. Trim one long side, then cut one 6½" strip and one 7½" strip.

Sew the long seams, turn and press, cut into 5½" pieces.

Fold and press those, sew and serge the end seams. Turn and press again.

Sixteen pouches from 4 FQ's, plus plenty of scraps leftover to make into outside pockets in which you could store lens wipes or moist towelettes.

I am never good at things like this. However, I just made two and am so happy about this quick project. Thank you. Thank you.

Wow!! I usually don't do craftsy things because they are difficult and I mess them up. This looks sooooo easy and quick. I am going to have to make some of these and fill with tissues and give as gifts. Thanks for the tutorial. It was so clear and right to the point!!!!

Thanks for this tutorial, I have made 3 and plan to make several more to give to ladies at the retreat I am attending next week. So easy and so useful.

How clever! So easy and inexpensive I can have one to coordinate with whatever purse or bag I'm using. :-)

Thank you so much. You made it very clear and easy to understand. I think I'll make a million or two for everyone I know.
