    Wow!! I love the colors and the design. What size was your original 9 patch? I used 2 12 inch squares ending with a 6 inch block. Looks like yours is bigger. I like it better and it would make a faster quilt.

    K...Lily's quilt has turned out beautiful, the applique is fantastic,it's really made it a special quilt now :D

    Tell Lily she is very welcome, I am glad you got to make the design, let's hope your wadding turns up soon :shock:

    They're 3" squares making a 9" block donfel.

    Beautiful !! The applique is superb!!!! One of these days..... I always say it, but I never try. Maybe on the next quilt. Your color combination is so pretty.

    Thank you, Lily helped pick the fabric. And she loves the appliqué - hearts and flowers are her favourite!

    hmmmmm .... i don't want to offend or embarrass anyone, but i see this tutorial thread has gone far offtrack with miscellaneous posts and pics that are not related to the tutorial itself.

    in addition to confusing the thread, all these lovely unrelated pics aren't getting the notice they deserve.

    sooooooo ... although i'm not going to remove any of the unrelated stuff ( that would be tooooooooo mean) i am going to do the hard-hearted moderator thing and lock it. :wink:
