    Default Valentine hearts gift

One of today's posts under another topic prompted me to send a gift of heart patterns for Valentine's Day to my friends on the Board. These are some I've used over the years in my own quilts.

There really are a multitude of ways to make heart blocks, some more interesting than others, yet we often stick to the same one or two we've already done before.

I particularly like hearts with 'rounded' shoulders....those that are not made with just HSTs... but are often snowballed to give the illusion of roundness. That kind of heart, in a 6" size, is presented here.

Already printed out and stored in a clear page protector. I even have the fabrics sitting patiently beside the pattern! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much Jan. Love your hearts. Perfect for all the nieces and G'daughters mug rugs.
