So, can I just jump in and make the block of the month? Do you swap them? Or every month each person makes one of the pattern put up for their own stash? Surely I can handle that!! Someone invite me or something! :-)

Welcom Kensington. Here is your invite. It is not swap. Each month a different person selects a pattern and we make it, putting our own twists on it. Some use a different pattern all together. It is a calendar block of the month. Each month has two threads - one for the instructions and one for the pictures. I'm going to try to insert a link to the intro thread.

Thanks Jeanine! I wasn't sure if it was closed or open. I like this block. I noticed that some of the blocks pictured were different from the original pattern posted. So, your post explains it. "Putting our own twist on it". I'm not sewing today, but I can do this. Thanks again.

Well now the darn thing loaded. I had to show the single block because one of the things I noticed about all the squares is that the ones that used a variety of scraps the stripes look wavy where the other ones look straight. Does any one else see that???? I think it looks neat. I love the variety of the ones like the fruit.
